A fairly common situation, as well as the consequences of recreation in nature, when a coniferous forest spreads around. In addition, sources of pollution can be construction work or simply carelessness when working with resin materials. The result is dirty clothes, and it is still necessary to figure out how to wash the resin from the clothes, and at the same time not spoil the thing.
Immediately it is worth stipulating that two main problems will be considered: the resin of coniferous trees and the resin of tars, the one used for waterproofing roofs, added to asphalt, etc. You can use all the listed methods in both cases, but for tar, in fact, everything ends at the second stage, which will be discussed later. Stage one
The most effective means: wet the place of pollution. On a wet fabric, the stain will not be able to eat into the clothes and spread. Alcohol, which is more effective in how to wash resin from pine, should be handled carefully, in some cases it can affect the color of the thing, so you should first test it on the internal seams, where there will be no noticeable negative result. Stage three
All of the above is done, but the stain still remains, and the resin still sits firmly in the fibers of the fabric. In this case, you can try to melt it and wet it. You need an iron, filter paper, thick paper like for a printer, or a thick fabric that doesn’t hurt. Between two layers of dense fabric or paper, two sheets of filter paper are laid, and between them already a cloth with resin. All this is warmed up with an iron, only so that the layers do not shift between each other.

The fourth stage is the most aggressive
If none of the above has helped, then it remains to use only the most aggressive means: white spirit, acetone, benzine – that is, solvents capable of damaging the resin and removing it from the fibers. It also threatens to remove dyes, or simply eat away at the material of the fabric itself, especially if we are talking about synthetics. So first check and testing, and then dissolve the resin.
