Many housewives forget about curtains when cleaning the room. The fabric collects dust on itself, becoming a source of pollution in the house. Figuring out how to wash curtains in a washing machine is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance.
Stage one: manual processing
This stage is inevitable before washing any type of curtains. A vacuum cleaner will help collect dust. The remaining dust can be knocked out by hand. If there are eyelets on the curtain, it is better to refuse punching.
After dry cleaning, the curtains are soaked. First of all, the solution is prepared, where the curtains are placed. It is better to use cool water and liquid detergent for the solution. Brushes, as well as other elements containing threads, are quite easy to soak, in the future it is not necessary to wash them in a washing machine.

After the curtains are laid out on a flat surface, without wringing or subjecting to hard mechanical processing.
What should be remembered when washing curtains in a washing machine :
- It is better to wash all types of curtains using liquid detergents. If only powder is at hand, after washing the curtains, you need to rinse additionally. It is worth remembering that powders can damage curtains of even the roughest materials.
- Products that contain metal elements must be packed in special laundry bags. Eyelets can damage the washing machine drum from the inside. Curtains made of threads are bound to get tangled when machine washed, so they should also be pre-packaged.
- Spoilage of fabric is inevitable if hanging threads are not cut before loading.
