Every housewife has faced the problem of dirty kitchen towels at least once in her life. Such irreplaceable assistants in the kitchen are constantly dirty, and after several washes they lose their attractive appearance. In order for towels to last as long as possible, it is important to pay attention to washing them and cleaning them from stains. Let’s analyze how to wash towels from stains in a variety of ways. In the article, we will discuss how to properly wash kitchen towels, how to remove complex dirt, and what cleaning agents can be used for this.

Hand or machine wash

Proper and regular washing of kitchen textiles is 50% of the success of their long service life. To do this, prepare the products correctly, follow the appropriate washing algorithms, and choose the appropriate means.

Preparation of towels . Before washing, prepare the towels for washing. First of all, remove heavy dirt with a special stain remover or improvised means. It will also not be superfluous to soak them in a soda or salt solution for 4-5 hours or pour boiling water over them.

What tools to use ? Ordinary washing powder is suitable for regular washing of not very dirty towels. If you decide to soak the towels first, use a saline solution or non-chlorine stain remover for colored materials, and baking soda or chlorine bleach for whites.

Secrets of automatic washing:

  • Before sending the towels to the drum, sort them by color: separately light ones, separately – with bright colors and prints.
  • Try to wash kitchen textiles separately from other items.
  • Choose the temperature mode, taking into account the characteristics and color of the material. White cotton towels can be washed in water at 90-95 degrees, colored towels at no higher than 60 degrees, and synthetic towels in cold water up to 40 degrees.
  • Soak heavily soiled towels or set an additional pre-wash mode.
  • Also try to remove stubborn stains before washing.
  • In the powder compartment, you can pour not only detergent, but also bleach or stain remover in the proportions, according to the instructions.
  • Be sure to set the additional rinse program for better washing of the powder from the fibers and use spinning at high speeds.
