The fact that the vacuum cleaner filter is dirty is very easy to understand from the change in the nature of the work of the vacuum cleaner itself: the suction power of garbage and dust is noticeably weakened. Types
All vacuum cleaner filters can be classified into the following categories:

- Cyclonic. These elements are equipped with a special block, dust and dirt settle in it.
- Fine cleaning filters. Highly active filters made of fibrous material impregnated with a chemical composition are notable for their high efficiency in absorbing dust.
- Bag filters that keep dust inside. The most unpretentious option, capable (it depends on the material of manufacture) of being both reusable and disposable. Disposable paper bags, reusable bags made of special synthetic fabric.
How to clean
The whole operation can be broken down into several simple stages.

- Open the top cover of the device and pull out the filter itself.
- Rinse with water and then let dry.
- The dried filter is inserted back into the vacuum cleaner.
Nuances of different types of cleaning
The most universal method to clean any type of filter is the wet cleaning method. It is only necessary to remove the filter from the vacuum cleaner and put it in a container with cold water. Dirt will settle in the container, and the filter must be placed under a tap with water and rinsed thoroughly.

Fine-cleaning filters, such as HEPA filters, can be made of either thin paper or polymer. Paper filters cannot withstand long-term use, they cannot be washed, after collection they must be blown with a jet of dry air, and it is better to simply replace them with new ones regularly; polymer HEPA filters can be cleaned by washing, they can withstand multiple washes.
