However, when it comes to washing, many people wonder how to do it correctly so as not to spoil the product, to preserve its former attractiveness? Of course, the easiest option is to go to a dry cleaner, however, there is not always time and money for this. Therefore, it will not be superfluous to understand how to wash a jacket on a synthetic fiber.
The opinion that washing a synthetic leather jacket in a washing machine is harmful is wrong. A thing made of high-quality materials will not lose its presentable appearance and operational characteristics. Good syntepon does not lose its properties when in contact with water and recovers its shape after drying. Pre-soaking the jacket is not recommended. If there are difficult stains, lock them, while using non-aggressive detergents.
Preparation
Before you wash the jacket on the sintepon, carefully prepare it. We recommend:
- Turn inside out, fasten buttons, zippers.
- If there is a removable decoration (for example, fur inserts), unfasten it.
- Carefully check and empty the pockets, take out all the items that are there. Small products can damage the fabric, and also lead to the breakdown of the washing machine.
- Inspect the item, check the strength of the seams, make sure there is no damage to the fabric.
Pre-locking
This stage is necessary if spots or areas with heavy pollution are detected. Dishwashing detergent is good for removing grease stains . A little product is applied to the stain, rubbed, left for 3-5 minutes, washed off.
To remove heavy dirt, use household soap.
What tools are best to use?
You can wash the jacket with ordinary washing powder suitable for the type of washing machine (automatic, semi-automatic), however, the powder produces a lot of foam and is poorly rinsed from the fabric fibers. Therefore, it is better to give preference to liquid detergents. Then there will be no problems with rinsing. It is important to ensure that the product used does not contain aggressive or bleaching components.
How to wash in a washing machine
Before washing outerwear, familiarize yourself with the rules to make this process as safe as possible:
- Wash at a low temperature (not higher than 30-40 degrees).
- It is important to choose the appropriate mode (for example, delicate, manual or for synthetic fabrics).
- It is recommended to choose gentle detergents (preferably liquid) that do not contain bleaching substances.
- Turn off the spin and dry function beforehand, as this can ruin the jacket.
- For better preservation of shape, it is recommended to use special covers when washing in a machine. For the same purposes, special balls are used, which prevent the deformation of the sintepon.
After washing the jacket, rinse it thoroughly (when washing in a washing machine, you must set the additional rinse mode). In this case, you will save yourself from the need to wash the products in case of separation from the detergent.
Drying
After washing, dry the jacket completely on a synthetic fiber. After that, hang it for a while so that the water drains. After that, the product is laid out on a soft cloth, carefully straightened (in this case, it will not be necessary to iron). You can also hang the jacket on the balcony, it will dry faster in the fresh air.
It is forbidden to dry a jacket on a sintepon on a battery or other heating device. This drying mode will lead to deformation.
