Another advantage is that washing products on synthetic fibers is permissible at home in most cases. In order not to spoil the product, it is necessary to follow a number of rules on how to wash a sintepon jacket and follow a simple algorithm of actions.
At what temperature do you wash?
Usually synthetic outerwear can be washed yourself and you do not need to pay for dry cleaning services. So that the jacket is not damaged, you must first study the label on the product. On it, the manufacturer indicates the type of washing, the permissible temperature regime, the possibility of spinning and ironing. Information from the label will help you properly care for your coat or jacket.
When washing outerwear with an artificial filler, the water temperature should be within 30 degrees. Sometimes it is allowed to increase it to 40 degrees, but not higher. Hot water can cause a strong deformation of the filler, as a result of which it will lose its ability to retain heat and acquire an unattractive appearance (it will become battered).
In which mode and with what to wash?
If you wash a jacket with artificial filler in a washing machine, it is important to choose the right mode. Sintepon does not tolerate strong mechanical impact and intensive washing. For this reason, after loading the product into the drum, you should choose a delicate washing machine program :
- “Sensitive washing”;
- “Washing delicate things”;
- “Synthetic”;
- “Handwash”;
- “Wool”.
It is better to turn off the automatic spin. If the manufacturer allows spinning, set the minimum speed, because at a large number of revolutions, the sintepon can be deformed.
To wash a synthetic leather jacket, you should buy liquid detergents: gels, capsules, liquids. You can choose a product for delicate things. It is better to abandon the use of ordinary powder, as its particles easily get stuck between the fibers and are difficult to wash. When washing by hand, you can use laundry soap.
Pay attention ! It is strictly forbidden to use bleaches or products containing them for synthetic outerwear, even for light products.
A coat or jacket made of sintepon can be washed by hand or in a machine. Each type of washing has its own characteristics and nuances.
Machine wash
Before sending the product to the drum, you should perform a few simple preparatory actions:
- Unfasten the fur parts.
- Remove all contents from pockets.
- Fasten locks, zippers, buttons and other fasteners.
- Check that all seams are well sewn. Otherwise, the filler will come out of the jacket during washing.
- Turn the sintepon jacket inside out.
- If you are afraid of damaging the product in the machine, place it in a special bag for washing.
Advice ! If there are heavy stains on the jacket, wet them with water and soap them well with laundry soap. You can rub lightly with a soft brush. A dishwashing liquid will help deal with greasy stains. Drop a little detergent and rub it into the cloth.
If you are going to wash a sintepon jacket in an automatic machine, follow the steps in the following sequence:
- Load outerwear after preparation into the drum.
- Add gel or other detergent to a special container.
- Select a similar program and run it.
- Install an additional rinse so that the detergent is well rinsed and no streaks remain.
- Wring on low speed.
Advice! If you want to prevent the filler from churning, use special washing balls . You can replace them with ordinary tennis balls.
Handwash
If you decide to wash the jacket by hand, you need to perform the actions in the following sequence:
- Take a bath or pour warm water into a large basin.
- Add detergent. If you use laundry soap, then dip the jacket in water first, then soap it on all sides.
- Leave the product in the water for 10-15 minutes.
- Lightly scrub heavily soiled areas with a brush.
- Rinse the outerwear well, changing the water several times.
Drying
It is equally important to properly dry outerwear with an artificial filler. You can do this in two ways:
- Place the synthetic fiber jacket on a horizontal surface, placing a terry towel or a sheet folded in several layers under it.
- Hang the jacket on the shoulders and place it in the bathroom, on the balcony or outside. If you place the jacket indoors, put a basin under it, especially if you wash the product by hand.
The advantage of synthetic outerwear is that it dries very quickly. The main thing is to drain all the water.
