Lime scale does not spare the plumbing in our apartments. Less than six months later, whitish or yellowish spots and stains appear on faucets, sinks, and shower cabins, which are difficult to wash off. The reason is too hard water. Not only that the shiny nickel-plated and polished surfaces of the shower cabin take on an unpresentable appearance, but lime scale is also a health hazard. After all, it has a porous structure, and disease-causing microbes are more difficult to wash than from a smooth surface. Prevention
So that plaque on the walls and equipment of the shower cabin does not feel at home, you need to take permanent measures to combat it.

- Once a month, it is necessary to clean the cabin with a special product, many of which are available on store shelves. After rinsing, wipe dry the walls, tray and all sanitary ware of the cabin.
- At the first signs of limescale, potent agents are used. They do this even if the shower has not been used for a long time.
Cleaning of shower and hydromassage openings
Everyone knows that limescale eventually corrodes plumbing equipment. Heavy metal salts, of which it mainly consists, are responsible for this. Therefore, it is necessary to clean not only the inner walls of the shower cabin, but also the shower itself.

If after wiping with a product or vinegar, the plaque has not disappeared, you will have to soak the shower. To do this, you need to pour the agent or vinegar into any container that fits the diameter of the shower disk and lower the shower there for 20-40 minutes, or even an hour, depending on how old the pollution is. After that, turn on the shower so that the water washes the holes. The hydromassage disk will have to be unscrewed to soak, and then returned to its place, and also rinsed with water jets.
Cleaning the cabin walls and tray
Citric acid is used to clean the walls, glass and shower tray from lime scale.
Take acid powder in the amount of 100 g, pour it into a half-liter jar with hot water and stir. Pour the solution into a spray bottle and spray it on the inner surfaces of the shower cabin. After 2-3 minutes, wipe with a dry cloth.
The steam generator is effective in the fight against plaque. It is enough to bring the working unit closer to the surfaces to be cleaned and let the steam do its job. Then wipe the cabin with a dry cloth.
The store sells an anti-scaling agent for irons. It must be dissolved in water and the solution boiled. They should clean all surfaces, paying special attention to heavy pollution. After all the same procedure – wiping dry.
